this might be my personal favorite piece in the studio currently.
I'll try to explain why: some paintings are a muscling, while others are as without resistance as a current.  this piece moved with little effort, and she was looking back at me in record time.  the look surprised me. I immediately saw an antiquity there.
 
the 'remnant pieces' have an emphasis on negative space, and balance.
less can often say more, so to speak.
